Do you use the internet?

The internet is the tool that fills every gap in my life. It will be much more easier to rehearse what I cannot do with the internet but then I wouldn´t be able to show my skills at writting.

I´m going to split my activities in two sections:

Leisure time: Since I discovered the internet the TV is dead for me. From the net I can get the episodes off the shows I follow when and wherever I like to. The same thing befall with connecting with my friends, the chance of being connected at any time and for free is  too tempting or me. What´s more, the amount of enjoymen that websites as youtube can provides me is boundless.

Working time: In almost every single subject Iám asked for a internet connection to even attentp to do my homework. All my marks and result are posted on the net. Moreover, the cuantity of knowledge, legitimate or not is proportional to the enjoment one.

As you can deduce I use the internet, a lot...to please all the requirements of my daily life.

Paranormal Phenomenon

Two months ago in a cold January night I was sleeping. That time I didin´t dream that I can ride the sky or that I was the superhero of a city flooded by criminals...that night I had a nightmare.

I don´t remember the hole content of it, that was surely terrifiying, Ionly remember the most shoking part...when I woke up. I was petrified, literaly. My body was frozen, I felt an incredibly heavy load over my chest. Like a body lying over me. The only thing I was able to do was moving my arms. I was so scared that I move them uncontrolled all around me throwing the water bottle, books, my alarm clock and even the bedside lamp. I don´t know if it was the fear or the weight I felt over me what keep me off shouting but I couldn´t scream. I got in panic. I felt anxiety and anguish..it was awful.

The day before I googled what happened to me the last night. I found out that it is surprisingly common and it is called sleep paralysis. It happens because when we sleep our body is frozen so we don´t act in the way we are doing it in our dreams. Despite of knowing the reason it doesn´t become less frightful.

This is an essay I wrote in the rol of an enviromental ingenier for a contribution to a book.

Urban governances are now being strong developers of the energy thrift trough various actions.

I´m going to expose de example of my borntown which is on the way of becoming an eco-friendly city.

The town hall has promoted , rewarded and punished some behaviours in order to cut down the excessive waste of energy. It has built  twenty five of bike lane all around the city and has set an economic help of fifty € to all those who buy a new bike. It has come to term with the local electric company to give a free electricity month to all those who spent less than an agreed amount of it during the year. So it has done with the local cinemas and the recycling center. Now with each appliance you took there you earn five points that can be switch into movie tickets. It has also established severe fines to those who throw rubbish to the ground and to those enterprise which exceed the monthly power limit. What is more, three solar fields and two wind farms have been set up in the surrounding in order to provide energy to the city.

All this setps have been well received by the population because of the healthy image that is now attached with the city and because of the economic boom that the installation and development of this infraestructure had need.

Nowadays my city in on the way of becoming self energy supplied and will leave the dependence of fossil fuels to make room for green energy.

I think is worth teaching citicens how to live an enviromentaly friendly life.

There are severals little tricks that each person can do in his home in order to save energy but as far as I am concerned the greatest changes are those that affect the entire society. And those can be only promoted by the government.

                           My favourite tv show

     The tv show I like the most nowadays is Breaking bad but I have already talked about it last week so I´m going to talk about my second favourite one.

                                                  

                                                    The walking dead:

Zombies are the flawless alibi for Robert Kirkman , the writter of the comic the serie is based on and producer of it, to deepen in the relationship between the characters in a broken world.

Nowadays the show is a resounding success with millions of viewers and not a lower budget. This can be understood because of the Zombie fan phenomenon that actually collaps our tvs, cinemas and book stores.

However, the level the comic left behind has not been reached by the serie. The vignetted version llover can miss more evolution in the characters, less predictable plot twistes and above all more brutality.

It is true that the show hasn´t got a lack of gore and blood but the crudity I was looking for is different.

A abscense of hope , morality, relationships based on fear and hate. Fair men becoming monsters because of the horror that surround them...

The walking dead is the best recorded zombie product but it still haven´t reached the top of its own potencial.

Breaking bad

Our daily life is just routine and rules, no thrill , no fears. Imagine being a chemistry teacher in a tiny  village of New mexico. What if you also have too work at a stinky car wash in the evenings to pay the bills until you wife and your handicapped son wait for you at home. What if you could have been a legend in chemistry but your best friend stole your idea and your girldfrind on the way. what if the straw that fills the galss is that you find out that you have lung cancer....

Maybe you just break bad*...

Walter White the main character of this astounding serie start cooking meth (a synthetic drug) with his ex-student Jesse Pinkman. They can not even suspect the kind of world in which they are getting into.

From my point of view this serie is on the way to become a masterpiece.The evolution of the character is just breahtaking. Walter start being a nobody and progressively he release the monster that inhabited him. The evolution is both , fisical and psicological. Fisicaly the quimio make him suave his head and the pain he pass through makes  lots of winkles appear in his face.
A remarkable aspect is that the characters are affeccted by aspect of the reality  that doesn´t add anything to the plot

What´s more ,this is full of unexpected changes, the characters act in ways you can not even imagine.
The camera angles are brilliant, from time to time they delight us with views that highlight remarkable objects  in the weft.

Can politicians solve our problems?

It is well know that several problems as the ignorance of the young people or the corruption strikes our society. Most of us expect  solutions from our politicians and feels outraged when they didn´y do it. Despite this, from my point of view not the entire responsability lies on the goverment.

First of all, as their name says they are "social" issues so they must be solved by us, the society. The politicians can and should impose laws and enforce then but is our choice to fullfil them or not.

Secondly, As we could have seen lately most of the politicians are unable to troubleshoot problems. Nevertheless, they are great finding the way to profit from them.

It is clear that is the people, which shapes society, the one that must change its behavior. To make this easier we can be helped by honest politicians, though.

One week ago we show you our breathtaking speech and now we have uploaded it to youtube so you can enjoy whenever you want.
If you haven´t seen it, it´s about three friends and a mysterious character that makes them sing everywhere  they go. We tried to use lot of slang and current expressions.

How can NGOs help people?:

                                    

NGOs are the last resourced for thousands of people in the Third world nations. However, from my point of view, it´s hard to decide the way in which they must shoot to their targets.

On one side, they can provide needy people with nourishment, shelter, vaccines, medicines, education, protection.. and they will probably save their lifes, but this is just as trying to buoy a boat throwing overboard water buckets.

On the other side, ONGs can just fill the hole because of which the ship is sinking.

This is way harder and is several cases unfeasible as changing the global economic system. Nevertheless, there are projects as vacunning an entire population in order to erradicate an illness that are affordable.

Tu sump up, in most of the actual issues the ONGs must attack he root of the problem.

My favorite Videogame

An infinite world made of blocks . Your bare hands. Survive.

Minecraft is one of the famoust and  acclaimed videogames. There is not any plot or target the only thing you must do is to keep yourself alive and enjoy. The entire world is made of cubes, you can destroyand  stack them the way you want. Nevertheless, not everything is a stroll. Try to set up a house before the sun rises, otherwise you will be surrounded by all kinds of monsters.

Once you are safe and day has comeback you can go outside and do that for which you will get paid in real life, as cutting down trees, digging for ores, setting up a farm...Bit by bit you will find new and better resources whereby you would be able to craft new weapons and armour to go at night and delve into dark dungeons where you will find magnificent treasures.
After struggeling during months in order to have the better stuff you will likely be killed.
But don´t worry you can start again as many times as you want.

This is  the greatest and most frustrating game ever.

The interface is clear and you only can see your hands and some shortcuts. This is called a first person game. The graphics are simple but  lovely and the soundtrack fits perfectly with the style.In addition there are a lot of fan-made mods that make this game a masterpiece.

Pd:Don´t forget to try the multiplayer.

"The end of the watch" Review

The exam season has just emerged so it´s time to watch all those delayed films until I pretend to study. Yesterday I watch a fantastic one that I want to share with you, "End of  watch" (Sin tregua in spanish) 

Two cops and a city of almost 4 million inhabitants are  characters of this documentary style film. Brian Taylor and Mike Zavala (or Z, as Brian likes to call him) are two LAPD police officers which record their journey for a film project. They patrol in one the most dangerous districts of the city where several  gangs fight in order to get the control of the streets. I don´t want to spoil you to much so I am just going to say that they stick their noses into other people's business until the get in one of the biggest mexican narco spotlight.

The two main characters Michael Peña and  Jake Gyllenhaal are great. They show us their dreams and aspiraciones in their dialogues. The film show their outside work life that make you  understand their motivaciones and  feel what they feel. They dont fall in the stereotype of tought guys and they look like common people with fear and doubts when they take their gun out.

The way the film is recorded is marvelous. Most of it is from Brian cameras but the are normal angles too. Moreover there are some epic camera angles as the one which is attached to Brian´s shotgun.

I strongly recomend you to watch this film that show perfectly the brutallity of L.A. slums. I assure you are going to enjoy.

PD:There are some gore moments so be prepared to close your eyes and avoid blood splatters.

Merry Christmas. Here´s wishing this holidays helps you to relax from the academic´s year stress and the overweight bearded man fills your stocking with health, money and love in his twenty fou reindeerpower sleight.

I hope your door is full of angelical kids singing warm Christmas carols to whom, In addition to listen, you will have to give a tip.

On the whole,I hope you have a happy new year full of exams to check and I hopefully wish not to run into you under the mistletoe.

Green Street Hooligans Review

Hello everybody¡
The world didn´t end yesterday but I will stay a couple days more in my bunker just in case. I´ve already bust the pac-man twenty seven times so I´ve found some time to make this review about that teenagers-loved film we watched the last week.

To start with the film in general was great, it has extreme violence, psychopath antagonist, Tolkien characters, blood splattering, arfare fights and slang, a lot of slang. I have learn the most diversed ways of insulting in english. What´s more, I have understood that f**k fits in every single sentence.

However, from my point of view, the end was a little bit empty, I was expecting a hugh riot in the field during the Milwall-United match, not just a little prepared fight where, personally, the coke head Tommy should have been given the chop. (Sorry for the expression)Nevertheless, the actual end is genial and makes you change your mind about all the violence you have been enjoying during the film.

As a result it is a delightful film that encourages you to fight but at the end shows you when to run away.

I will upload some more stuff during the  holidays so stay sharp and happy Christmas

Green Street Hooligans

Yesterday we start watching the worth-seeing film "Green street Hooligans".
The film is about a grown up Frodo that after saving the middle-earth and finishing their Harvard studies in just twelve hours of epic trilogy  has moved to Great Britain to start a new life. There he meets some well-behaved, peace-keeping boys that only want to drink some beers, watch some West ham united football and smash some faces.
Despite of having crossed the entire kingdom of Mordor he  stills being a coward without his likely gay friend Sam but after  a couple Guinness he became a true and wild hooligan.

Another thing that makes this film great is that his director was a black belt sensei  teenager that joins hooligans.
But the best thing is that he was she. The director is a woman that used to be a hooligan¡¡

Dear sir or madam,

I´m writing to express my concern regarding the test excess in second B.A.C. I realise that this is meant to prepare us for university acces exams but it cause a terrible stress in the students.

First of all so many exams prevents student to study day by day. Therefore the students has to sacrifice the study of some subjects in order to ger better marks in others. What´s more , because of this student just focus in memoricing the subject as fast as they can instead of understannding it.

I urge you to remoce at least a quarter of the examsto improve tne learning and the welfare of the student which can use the spare time to understand and make school projects that will make them learn more than ten exams.

Notorius people are idols and sometimes role models.What´s more, people warship them and try to imitare their behaviour.Nevertheless, this is not so good as it sound.

On the one hand, stars have incredible lives, whit lavish parties , suntuous mansiones and cars,trendy clothes , warship admirers...being always in the spotlight.

On the other hand, they are all the time being pursued by nosy crowds of fans gossiping and expecting something from you. Moreover, this pressure can make them fall in drugs.

To sump up, you can only enjoy fame if you are tought enought to deal with rumors.
